The first edition of the Italian Investment Showcase, an annual forum aimed at creating a bridge between Italian innovation and financial markets, will take place on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th April. The event aims to put a selection of innovative Italian companies and technology parks into contact with potential investors in order to facilitate investments in the Italian innovation market and allow Italian companies easier access to financial markets.
Forty Italian companies, all leaders in innovation and research, working in the Aerospace, Environmental, Green Power, Ict and Life Science sectors, have been invited to participate. The operators in different sectors will have the opportunity to introduce themselves during a 7-minute pitch and, subsequently, discuss their proposals with potential investors during b2b encounters; with investors from national and international markets, such as investment funds, venture capital funds, business angels and multinational corporations; and to a limited number of selected CEOs and entrepreneurs who will be able to attend the event as observers.
“We are pleased to have been selected. It will be the first time we have met potential investors and business angels. It will be a great opportunity for us to introduce ourselves to the public, but, above all, a chance to find out more about this environment, to learn how to interact with investors and to network,” says Tiziano Tresanti, founder of airpim.
